L99 TCM-Tuning

Does anyone know if a tune can turn off DOD in the "sport mode" only and when in Drive still work??

I tune DOD differently as to each owner's drive style

Via tuning can contol when DOD is functional or not by RPM, each trannie gear, the amount of engine MAP/Vac and if high octane timing is being used or not.

Of course if owner has a tuning tool I do multi tunes that they can then flash in when needed with different tune configurations such as one tune that has DOD always off, or another tune with set parameters when DOD is commanded on or off.

We have been working on this for quite some time. It appears that it is possible.

Hopefully we can still figure it out. You guys will be the first to know.

Must be working really hard there, its only been in hp tuners since the first AFM/DOD release and it works on the camaro too.

Jury is still out?..

Currently DOD can be tuned to different speed thresholds but will be that way in both D and M modes.

What can be done is tune TM down in M and leave it stock in D. As I understand there is some bleedover affect, but it's still as close to stock as you can get in D and more aggressive in M.

That's great news... I counted up the T's and there were more than 6, but then off is off... That would be perfect...

I currently have mine turned completely off and lost around 3mpg

Sport and Manual are one in the same. Pull shifter back to M and you are in Sport mode.

Possibly T is for Tap Shift mode...

Wow, for being new to the board you sure are cocky.

We have HP Tuners, LS2 Edit, EFI Live, and our own proprietary software here at the shop. I have yet to see that table work properly, but if you say it does I guess I believe you. I have not tried it in a while. We have tuned over 600 G8's & Camaros with this TCM so we have been around the block.

BTW, we CAN absolutely tune torque management by shift mode and have since January 2008.

Welcome to the board. I don't hold a grudge
