ABS selnoid noise?? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

In the morning starting the car for the 1st time and letting it warm up for about 10mins. I pull out of the driveway (slight decline) and in about the same place in the drive way (could be coincidence) but it only happens when the car has been sitting over night I get a clicking noise that sounds like it is coming from the ABS master cylinder (valves) and I can feel it in the brake peddle. It happens for about 5 seconds and disappears.

No sensor lights come on or are on....any suggestions?

I get that some times too....Not sure what the deal is.

Mr Smith,

Was it cold out in the mornings when this was happeneing? It was for me well, high 30's low 40's. Since then it warmed up and it has not happened again.

Yeah pretty much..Though it seemed like it did it a couple of times when it was warmer too. It only happens every once in a while...I was happening a couple times a week.

My Honda does this every day. Sometimes, its more noticeable than others. I've been told it is a self-check of the ABS system. It may be the same thing in the Camaro
