have a lt but would have rather got a LS. Personally I think best bang for the buck out of all the models and perfect canvas if you are going to do a lot of modding. I see a lot of people spend the money on higher models or RS package and end up switching the wheels spoilers ect out anyway. The money you save you can use to customize the way YOU want it. Good luck

I can't see this happening. If you can't get the sunroof on the LS, there is no way they will make it a convertible.

I love my LS and if I had a choice to do it again I would still get the LS because I've had fun modding it to how I want it to be instead of paying the extra cost for upgrades I didn't really need. The upgrades I did want, like the halos, I can get for less than I would have paid for the RS package.

My LS is by baby and I'm glad I made the purchase.

rims are a must.
I agree. Any extra money you can throw at it, i would put towards rims. Makes it look almost like an upscale model instantly.

Who cares you cant get the RS on a LS. The RS package is a waste. I have a RS replica for under 300 bucks. And actually its a better performing car than the RS too. Whatever you do dont just put HID in the LS lights. It doesnt make you look cool.

i love my RS package. and while I like leather and the halos, I don't need them. I will have my car paid off WAY faster than the other versions and I can do what I want with it to make it "mine." besides this is my DD and someday I hope to get a SS/RS as my weekend/summer car. but that is for another day... for now I will drive the crap out of my LS and enjoy every minute of it.

My sticker was close to 26k, auto, spare, stripes, destination charges. and i love this car, when i first started looking at the Camaro i did not know anything about the different models, and i actually chose the LS because i liked the black rims and the black fog covers. And this is my first car too, so it is def fun. and now instead of paying extra for spoiler and rims i can choose the ones i really want. The LS is a great car.

I got mine for 21,995. I like to mod, so saving the money was huge for me. I have already done, exhaust, intake, radio steering wheel controls, LED's interior, tinted windows, blackout tails. HIDs, and HID fogs.

Some other reasons I went with the LS: I prefer cloth seats, don't need a bunch of extra gizmos to go haywire, bluetooth? get off the damn phone and drive! Did I mention affordability? 25k with stripes & spare tire!!! that's a super price for a great car!

This car is SO great I don't think you can go wrong no matter which way you go.

Good luck with your decision, and post some pics when you get it.
well said

WTF? you obviously dont know that the rs pkge has nothing to do with performance. its strictly cosmetic.. so before you make a statement like this.. ferreal think about what ur saying..

I got my LS a year ago and it's still turning heads! My friend who was thinking of buying one compared it to the base Challenger and he said I really got more bang for the buck with my LS. Before I agreed to purchase the car, I asked my salesman to throw in the stripes and spoiler (along with the custom mats, factory tint and spare tire that already came with it) and he agreed! I added the 20" SS wheels (I got them for 1K with Pirelli PZero tires, wider in the back) which improved the 'bada**" factor tremendously. Lastly, I had the OEM mud guards added! After all these changes, I'm still under 25K! Congratulations! I got Silver Metallic Ice too!
