Are you going to share with the class how you achieved this? What shifter adapter did you use if any? Barton Industries? Did you have the factory Hurst short throw? Inquiring minds would like to know you know...

Oh I'm sorry lol Here is what I got.......

Speeddawg shifter knob, GM Licensed Series.
I also got the Non-Threaded Shifter Adapter Kit from Speeddawg.

And then for the boot I got from Redlinegoods, and I got Racing Stripe Color option. They have all the colors, so if you get a shifter knob like that in the color you want, you can match it with Redlinegoods boot.

And its just a normal shifter, no short throw yet. But they do boots for short throw shifters too.

You are using the factory shifter? How did you get the knob on the shifter? Does it screw on like a Hurst, etc.? If so, how did you get it on the shifter? I thought the stock shifter didn't have threads...

It doesn't but yes I am. Speeddawg sells the Non-Threaded Shifter Adapter Kit. I emailed them in advance to make sure it would work with camaro's. So you put on that adapter and then the ball screws on to that.

Nice... It looks like RedlineGoods.com has a lot of options. I need to replace the OEM vinyl boot.

How did you get the boot to stay up close to the knob? I got the shift knob exactly like that from Speeddawg with the universal adapter but because the adpater tapers down, I can't get the boot (OEM) to stay up close to the knob. So i have 3-4 inches of adapter showing.

Is the silver part under your shift knob part of the adapter?
