Hi!

Does anybody know if the Lambo Reventon is the only (new-age) lambo that comes with gullwing-doors? If it wasn't another customized Lambo, then I saw a red one yesterday in Brickell (Miami). I couldn't take a pic because we were just passing by in our car and a friend of mine couldn't get her camera out of her purse fast enough

when we walked over there 5 minutes later the car was gone :(

Damn that thing looked mean. But so beautiful.

Well technically they are not gull-wing doors ala Mercedes. The Mucielago's have them. They are commonly refered to as "Lambo" doors because they flip up (not out) hinged from the front, not the top like gull-wings and Lamborghini was who designed them.
Also they only come in one color, although I suppose the owner could have had his custom painted and ruined it exclusivity.
There will only be 11 imported into the US as well at around $1.5 million. So I'm guessing it was most likely not a Reventon you saw.

Another generic term for those types of doors are "scissor doors."

how bout the fact that even if they are... your local bodyshop (or almost ANY bodyshop at all) wont touch it with a 10 ft pole....

I got to drive the LP560 like a month before it came out because they opened a Lambo dealership right next to my chevy store and I sold a Corvette to one of their salesman. The car is amazing, don't get me wrong, but for the money, I'd buy a Z06. You might not get as many looks, but at least you won't be afraid to park it places and the performance is just about the same.

As far as the reventon goes...for $1.5M I'd buy a Bugatti Veyron 16.4 hands down.

The car is amazing, don't get me wrong, but for the money, I'd buy a Z06.
