Thanks was looking more for the headlight covers. You would think with all of the people that make parts on this forum SOMEONE would make them.

It someone were to make it, there would be to much involved in making it work. They would have to fabricate new headlights to accommodate the the split across the lights.

If you want it badly, it can be had ... for a price. Ask local machine shops to see if the can do it. Don't be surprised at the cost.

I figured that one can make an overlay that would include the ring and the split on the light. Just don't know how the headlight would work at night. would it mess up the beam too much?????

I do. I also have experience building molds for thermalformed plastic. I can build almost anything out of fiberglass and build parts on a hobby basis. I have my own wetsanding business and I bartend. I used to work in film and built really cool props. I would love to take on everything everyone wanted but I cant. Right now Im working on a solid project, a lifesize Smokescreen Impreza Transformer. To build that mocked up youd need to change the headlight setup completely. Then build a mock up part and then a mold. Probly like 10-15k to do it right and maybe more if it had to be pulled off by mold injection. like 10-30k. Its expensive.

Notice in the picture how the headlights have a source of light both above and below the dividing line. The light source looks like HID bulbs, so having 4 bulbs in 2 custom housings instead of 2 in RS housings would cost more than double the RS package. Since there is a custom grille involved, the cost will only go up from there. There are no blinkers integrated into this design, so these headlights are not legal.

The fog lights could be your turn indicators like the 1969

Could use the fog lights or put a blinker in the housing with the headlight. We did that many many times with the sport bikes. Quad headlights with a fiberglass mold overlay that uses the same screws to hold it in??? GOD, I want to get that look!! Dam, whom ever photoshoped it. now I want to make it happen.

Thanks for all of the input,
Bill Baranowski

P.S. I really do not care much for the grill. I think black mesh with no emblems is best for me. "IF IS DOES NOT MAKE IT GO FASTER OR STOP QUICKER....I DO NOT WANT IT." ....well except for this headlight thing. :-)

i don't think the bar over the headlight would affect the light all that much..especially for those who don't have the rs projectors..it may be a problem for the rs people though..
