just an update, I do have one set in right now, but am going to be gone until the 12th. I will be in the 13th-20th, and by that time I expect to have the other 3 sets back and will do the next four people then.

I received my IOM calipers thursday. I finally returned home sunday for the install. My originals will be sent out monday so Mike will have something to do LOL. The cals turned out good just some minor dust and air bubbles on the back side of the cals, the fronts are real nice. I had a little bit of concern that the rubber piston seals were not set in as deep as my originals. I figured they will seat in with a little use. After the install with new Hawk ceramics I gave then a little test and eveything went well.
I have to say the color is very nice not quite the same as the IOM but actually better. You can't really tell when they are on the car. My wife said they will make the car look (boy racer) That was until she seen them installed with the wheels back on,now . Heres some pics
Mike can you PM me a color name and # of that orange ? I'm planing on doing a custom paint job on my Harley and would like to use that color.
Thanks again .
Dale

Dale,
Yes, sometimes a little dust or other junk get on the backs and thats ok, but I never settle for that in any visible area. It has to do with buildup on my racks that I hang them on.

Its definitely not perfect, but just like the actual paint, it does vary in different angles and in different lighting conditions. Like you said, behind the wheels you can't tell.

The boots will be fine, as long as they aren't completely out, they will not come out on their own.

As for a color name, that won't be possible. Powdercoat isn't mixed or sold like paint, but under its own system, and the IOM match that I use is a combination of two different color powders that I mix up on my own. You won't find it available for sale anywhere.

Glad you like them though!

So do we pay anything to get on the list? Or do we just pay whenever we're up?

No definitely not, you pay when I have a set and am ready to commence work for you, never before that, and you can cancel at any time.

Yes I do. I figured it wouldn't work out for the color I'll just have to something mixed. I really like the color and the look on the car. Next is some new shoes and coilovers. Thanks a gain Mike..........you can ignore the Email I sent you.

hey Mike, this really hurts to say but I'm going to have to cancel my order. Yea, I know I've been on the list for like 2 months but money is kinda tight right now so mods are going on hold for a bit.

Also, there may be a little confusion. If you are able to handle the down time and send me your calipers, instead of doing the exchange, I can turn them around in 2 days if we coordinate when they arrive, so you don't have to wait. This list is just for one of my 3 or 4 core sets. (I think I may have lost a set, haven't heard from the guy in about a month).

ok so 300 bucks for camaro calipers either by being on a waiting list, and send you the unpainted ones once we get the powdercoated ones, or sending you our unpainted calipers with 2-3 days downtime to get them back

yep, same price either way, except for the refundable core charge for exchange.

Mike, put me on the list. How far are you from Chattanooga? I might be able to hand deliver my calipers and then come back and pick them up when you're done. Let me know and thanks.

will do. I'm on the wrong side of Atlanta for you, so about 2.5 hours. I am NE Atlanta. But if you dropped them in the morning and then went out and did the town, you could probably pick them up the same day.
