Hey guys, occbuff here. I got my calipers on last night and will be shipping my cores back to Mike tomorrow. Mike did a great job with the powder coating. I will post my picks as soon as weather cooperates. My car is SIM with the Inferno Orange interior, so I went with IOM calipers to bring some of the color to the outside. I love it.....

Yellow

Hi Mike, would you please put me on the list for yellow calipers with exchange. It looks like a pretty close match, it doesn't have to be an excact match up. Thanks.

sure,
Things are going to go slow for the next month though. I am also a pilot for Delta Airlines and am in school all month, transitioning airplanes, so I will only be coating one day per week.

Yes. Are they the same brembos as the old CTS V and the Camaro?

I'm still sure I can do them, I've just never seen them.

As for the list, I will have lava's done real soon, and I have another set here ready to coat for the next person, but the training at my airline job has everything slowed to a logjam right now. Had I known it would be so popular, I would have waited til after training to come into this market. sorry for the delays.

sorry for no movement on the list lately. Training at my airline job has made powdercoating take a back seat. I have also been extremely backed up on the Corvette side of powdercoating.

Good news/bad news. I am taking a 3 month break, until July 5th, from taking on new customers, trying to slow everything down a bit on my end and take a break. I haven't had a day off in over 4 months between the two jobs. This is great news for the Camaro folks. With the two sets of core calipers that I have, and very little other business coming in, once these sets come back to me, I should be able to turn them around fairly quickly, and since there are so many waiting, any new people who wanted them wouldn't be until after July 5th anyways. Also, next week I am hiring some part time help to speed things up also.

Mike, thanks for the samples of yellow you sent me, I received them on Saturday. I think I have narrowed down the color I would like to have done and will try to get your samples back in the mail to you tomorrow.

The winner is "hot yellow" PSS-1623/solid tone, Prismatic Powders.

Let me know if this works for you.

Please pm me with the particulars.

Thanks again.

Wayne

just saw your work this weekend at the camarofest on JETSCO's car with the IOM powdercoat. It looks awesome!!!! definatly worth the wait.

It was next to another vendors painted calipers and the powedered coated looked MUCH BETTER and smoother.

Mike,

If you had to guess would you say that mid to late June would be around the time frame I could expect to see mine or will it be later? Just trying to get an idea.

Thanks
