subs

anyone have a dual sub hookup? too much bass? would one be enough?

Depends what you're after - and what kind of music you like. I have a SubThump 10" (most people do the 12") and a 250 watt amp and it's plenty! Shakes my windows

I also want the rear pass-through kept open...

yeah i was looking to keep the rear free...never know what ull need....i had 2 in my previous car and it was insanely loud....i dont know if i want to break any seals on a brand new car lol
