Which Exhaust SLP Loudmouth 1 or Magnaflow
I have a Camaro LT with a cai recently installed. I plan to add an exhaust shortly. I have it narrowed down to the SLP loudmouth or the Magnaflow, both are the same price. Anyone have an opinion on which sounds better, gets more hp gains, or clips of either. Input would be appreciated.

I did see the other post with videos of each exhaust so mainly looking for opinions from those that have each.

It's all a matter of opinion really.

Since you asked for opinions.... The muffler delete on a V6 is way to thin and raspy in my opinion... If you are really set on doing a muffler delete there are less expensive options.... But I would also have Plan B in case the muffler delete is not to your liking...

I have the Magnaflow axleback setup...very happy with it, sounds exotic. Many compliments on it. There is a video clip posted in the V-6 exhaust sample thread.

Well, in my opinion, from listening to the videos, I much prefer the Magnaflow.
The SLP and Mags sound very different too me...I'm suprised those are your last two! lol. But hey if you like both, then more power to ya! Philthy...would love to hear more if you ever get bored one day! lol

Where at in Illinois? Sound is going to extremely subjective. All ears are different, but that said, I don't think I'd like a pure muffler delete ala Loudmouth I vs the Magnaflow on this car. Clips can be found in the sticky thread about exhaust. Hp gains is going to be hard to determine as well. One would think teh Loudmouth I being less restrictive should yield a higher gain, but how much? probably not enough to matter to be honest. It's all up to your ears in the end bro!

Check out Hottexhaust.com. They take offers and are very good with pricing and service. I can not post the price I paid, but it had a lot of 5's in it, well below the "discounted" price the other site have it for (and that included shipping.) Make sure you tell them you are from Camaro5.com.

Wow...Nice! Don't know if you could get that kind of deal now. Even when I click on "Sale Pricing" it lists the axle-back at $673. But I still love that they have the "Make an Offer" feature. You hardly see something like that at most sites....will keep them in mind when I'm ready to purchase.
