Besides 21's are horrible for tire options/pricing.. even 22" tires are cheaper than 21" tires

do you really need 21's ? My current car has 17's and I think they look good. 21's are going to be so freakin heavy you can forget the 0-60 in sub 5 seconds lol.

im not too concerned about the price of the tire. im buying a damn muscle car, their ment to go through some rubber. im not buying a honda. i know what to expect with a rwd v8 car with alot of hp. when you buy a car like this you have to prepare for the repair cost and replacement cost even after the arranty expires.

The official PDF's have just 3 wheels 18 X 7.5 (LS base) 19 X 8 (LT optional) 20 X 8 (X9 in rear, for the SS) AFTERMARKET wheels from GMPP sure they probably will have 21's .. but they wont be "stock"

I'd rather have the 'Vert wheels than any of the abominations on that red car. They look like bling-bling gone flat. I was hoping they'd make the 'Vert wheels in the first place, but I guess not - unless that's what these mysterious 21" rims are.

The 21" wheels were not going to be stock. They were to be dealer installed GM accessories. They also included a different spoiler and a body kit. It is somewhere on this site. I am curious to see them also.
here is the link to a GM site that list these available accessories http://www.chevrolet.com/camaro/insi...y/?id=cid00018 Accessories The new Camaro is complemented by a wide range of available dealer-installed accessories that allows customers to create a more personal car. From convenience features to appearance and performance upgrades - including 21-inch wheels4 - the accessories include the following: Interior trim kit - a four-piece kit offered in different colors Interior accessories - items include premium, "Camaro"-embroidered floor mats, sill plates and more Exterior detailing accessories - a variety of components are offered, from grille inserts and fuel doors to a High Rear Wing and Lower Ground Effects Package Stripes - heritage-inspired stripes are offered in RS style for the hood or "hockey stick" style side design Engine covers - available in five colors for the V6 and V8 engines Wheels - split-five-spoke 21-inch wheels are offered in black metallic and polished finishes Performance parts - numerous performance-enhancing components, including a tuned air intake, cat-back exhaust system, a Hurst short-throw shifter as well as more traditional GM Performance Parts. |

Hey Guys. I don’t think you will get the chance to see any of the official aftermarket parts from GM until SEMA in September. I will say that I have been talking with some one that is very reliable from GM in reference to the aftermarket parts and accessories. I have thrown idea at this person that I will not name. Things about what if I decide to get an Eaton TVS R2300 supercharger that is used on the ZR1 sense the two cars share the same LS3 6.2 V8. All I can say from his response is this, “just weight till after Sema and the car hits the show room". But on rims. I have herd people talk about how they like the ones on the Convertible Concept. Well take a look at the "Konig Beyond" rims. They are mostly used by the pony car group, but just check out the similarity before you beat me to death and shoot me. Ow and dear god I hope the 21’s don’t look like the ones in that pic.

![]() If you google them, you'll see them mostly on Mustangs... which at the moment... kind of take up the pony car segment since the Challenger is too new for us to start seeing mods right away. So 13F20 is right. These Konig's actually look pretty damn sweet if you ask me. I might just get them for my Camaro! They're like a more down to earth, deep-dished version of the 'Vert wheels.

Why would we do that? Because of what you're driving? Dude, everyone's got their own tastes and there's no denying the 350Z is a looker. Otherwise, you're not bothering anybody so there's no reason to bash. Welcome to Camaro5, BTW.

I wouldn't know, actually. I am quite akin to the pony car trends and I have never seen those wheels, actually. I am more used to Mustangs with TTII's or these ugly chrome blang-blang wheels.

Even if they are forged they will be heavy. With the rubber you need to put on there and the size of that rim it is a ton of rotational mass that this car will need to move compared to say an 18. I would step out and guess that at the VERY BEST that 21 will weigh in at like 28 lbs. Add a 35 lbs tire to that and you have a lot of loss there. My current car has 17's and they weight 20lbs and 46 total with the rubber. Some people are swapping these out even b/c they are too heavy and opt for 17s that weigh like 16.5 lbs. I am all for good looks but I don't want to sacrifice all that rolling mass for bling |

im not big on BLING either, i am white but i have good taste and i knw what looks good on a car. thats why chevy isnt doing anything smaller than a 18, because that style is out and there are new looks to a car.

No one ever said these were listed as being part of the accessories from the dealers. All I was saying is that some people liked the ones used on the Convertible concept and if they wanted to get something very close to those rims then these are a close second to them. So I informed every one where they could go to see what they look like and make a decision for them selves

I like the 'Verts wheels a lot. I too worry about the mass of the wheels and tires but I definately need a symetry in the wheelwells so I'll have to see one in person with the different sizes.
