You have to remove the bumper covers to get the marker lights out.
The taillight trim is accessed by removing the black covers over each tailight
after you open the trunk. There 3 push rivets on each black plastic cover, pry the center of each rivet up then pry out the rivet. Once the covers are off you will be able to see how to remove the taillights and trim.
