These are usually the cover that sit over each valve cover or the entire top of the engine and primarily are just to muffle valve train noise so people aren't bring their cars in complaining of the ticking. The LS series engines do have a bit of a noisy valve train. When you look at the engine bay pictures of the new v6 Camaro, that entire black and silver piece on top is the engine cover.

There will definetly be red and black, maybe silver. It would be sweet to see chrome like the concept, or carbon fiber!

On the V6. I like it without the cover. I think it looks better.

Wires and hoses don't bother me. I like to take a look and keep them clean.

tho the LS valvetrains can be slightly tapping, a lot of the noise comes from piston slap with those motors.

They just need some of that delicious Royal Purple.

My LT1 has a bit of tappy noise with 111k on it but it sounds normal to me.

blue perhaps? Since they have two blue paint colors, and the ZR-1 has a blue engine cover. I'm hoping they offer blue, because I'll be getting my Camaro in Aqua Blue.

I like what I see in the accessories options. Yeah, having color options are fantastic for the engine covers, but did anyone else notice the option for 21" wheels, and "numerous performance-enhancing components, including a tuned air intake, cat-back exhaust system, a Hurst short-throw shifter as well as more traditional GM Performance Parts."
