I think John is in England wrapping up their new supercar but I can answer your questions:
I believe they're 62mm Garretts and its the stock ECU with custom programming and an HKS EVC VI boost controller.

I actually think thats an optical illusion caused by the TIRES getting taller/distending due to the centrifugal force. (Like you see on hi power drag cars) When the tire gets taller it pulls the sidewall away from the outer edge of the rim which makes it look like the wheel is changing shape. Thats why real drag cars run bead locks.

so the stock ECU is very capable , that is good to know that it doesnt break up at that power,

Garrett cores you can go wrong what boost level ?

Could this package be made to work with the L99 cars? I guess what I'm really asking is, could the auto trans take this power and if not, does this package have provisions to beef up the auto trans, and if so, what are they?

The only other HPE800 in existence right now IS an automatic. I don't specifically what they did to beef it up but I'd imagine they upgraded the torque converter at the very least. My manual got a Centerforce clutch but we're putting in heavy duty input/output shafts as soon as they become available.

Heh! I don't know what kind of simulation capabilities their dyno has but they DO have an actual 1/4 mile track right out their back door. All the usual performance metrics will be put out in a mag article soon I suspect...

Due to the nature of a manual I'd expect it'll be hard to get a good 60ft time or really good 1/4 mile ET but the trap speed SHOULD be good since the car hooks pretty well once you get it rolling. I'm actually hoping to get some road track fun incorporated into the mag article since thats more my thing than just hammering it down the strip.

Why NOT...? Heh! The same reasons that folks say they can spool a single large turbo so you don't notice lag are even MORE applicable to smaller twins and they're bottom mounted so there's less heat in the engine bay.

why not ?? my question to you,, when you have that much displacement take advantage of it.

plus to make the same power you are making with 2 snails you would need one big turbo and much more boost that means more lag and lag is not good,,, i love fast spool

the guys at rockland standard gear have the parts you need i just got mine redone after i broke my tranny at the track they even have a close ratio modle of transzilla that will handle 1000 ft lb of torque those carbon fibor syncro rings feel like butter.

They don't list a tranny for the 2010 just the older Fbody... the 'son of tranzilla' would be great if they have one thats a straight bolt in for the 2010. Do they have a TR6060 version for the SS or just the T56?
You sent yours to them for a rebuild right?
