HPE800 Twin Turbo: 739 rw hp SAE

Dyno video:

This belongs to a local owner and it is setup to run on 91 octane fuel. It makes 739 rw hp sae corrected on just 11 psi boost and 12 degree timing. The uncorrected power was 785 rw hp.

It sounded beautiful. The operator sure knows how to drive a "Turbo" car and make her scream! :-)

Nice work guys. I love Twins!

Its MINE so don't get any drool on the paint...

You'll get to see much more of it soon, we're still wrapping up the paint and some appearance stuff. Performance metrics will eventually get released but keep in mind that 0-60 etc times are usually limited more by traction than available HP so I wouldn't expect too much of an improvement over Hennesseys LS9 car in 0-60 times.

Those dyno numbers were made on 93 octane pump gas and the the tune is VERY conservative and has already shown that it holds up well to plenty of heat soak.(conservative enough that it would run fine on 91 octane!) Just a tic over 11psi of boost needed to throw down 740hp at the wheel! NICE! Its essentially the same build that will be used for the upcoming HPE1000 though we're keeping mine an 800 because they're graciously giving me a really nice warranty. (Its actually making 870 hp if you do the math!) Gotta say I'm VERY happy with the Hennessey folks and all the work they've put into building my car.

The twin 62mm turbos are front/bottom mounted, and yes its a built LS3 block. (forged/stroked/lowered compression/balanced/Polydyn coated internals/massaged heads with upgraded valves and springs, too much other good stuff throughout the suspension to go into here.)

LOTS of good stuff went on this car and I can't wait to get it home and start driving it!

Hey Camaro5 members.... If anyone would like to call and discuss the upgrade to their Camaro, I would like to personally welcome you to call me at the sales office. At this time we are awaiting the paint work to be completed like ItMerc said but will be more than happy to discuss the build with those interested in getting almost 900 hp with great throttle response.. No need to wait for one big turbo to spool!

At this time I am unable to get you any images of the turbo kit as the car is in the body shop. I will also have to check with the web team to see when they are going to be released!

I know you are in Ft. Worth but if you would like to schedule an appt to come by our facility in TX, I will take you on a tour of the facility. As ItMerc mentioned, there is an HPE1000 presently under the knive as well as another HPE800. There will be more being built in the next 30 days as the vehicles just arrived from GM...

This invitation is open to any member reading... Just give me a call to set up a time to stop by the shop and our drag strip... Seeing over 20 Camaro's getting everything from Intake Headers and Exhaust to an LS9 Swap at the same time is something to remember!

See you soon,

James

Is there a dyno that shows the RWHP and RWTQ with respect to RPM instead of MPH?
Just curious for comparison to Dyno Sheets most are posting and how the turbos perform. Looks like the Camaro scenery will be quite enhanced this summer.

Thanks
