The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.

for both comments.

I made the mistake of taking my '99 through a car wash after a trip through the mountain pass. It went in brown with some blue patches. It came out completely blue but with some missing paint on the rear bumper cover and really bad swirls everywhere. They paid for the bumper cover to be painted but didn't do anything about the swirls. Ever since then I have said I would drive my car covered in pig crap before I put it through another automated car wash.

Sucks about your rim dude.

Fortunately we have a hand car wash near by that charges about the same price as a touchless car wash. They do a great job with no risk of damage to the car or the wheels.

People were making fun of me for washing mine in the garage, glad to see others do it too! Not only warmer in the winter but when it's hot out, I dont want to do it in the sun and the wind drys it off faster than I can and causes water spots. So no more outside washing for me. I just wish I thought of a drain in my garage when I built my house. O well - it does drain out pretty good already.

Oh yeah, and I experienced the same thing on the touchless (wheel scrape).
