Dodge Demon Concept

Has anyone seen this fugly druken love child of a threesome between the Dodge Viper Dodge Charger and Lamborghini Gallardo. The first time I saw this I threw up in my mouth a little

http://www.fast-autos.net/archive/2831/

ps there might even be a little Nissan 350Z in there

I think the Saturn Sky is one of the best looking cars GM builds. Much better looking than the Solstice. IMHO

I wouldn't be worring much about the Dodge Demon.

I would rather have had THIS produced. it is a concept car that came out in 94 called the plymouth venom.

the specs:
Engine: 3.5-Liter V6, Overhead Cam, 24 Valves, 245 Horsepower (Est)
Drivetrain: Six-Speed Manual Transmission, Rear-Wheel Drive
Body: Two-Door Coupe with All-Steel Unitized Construction
Suspension: Front and Rear Independent, Double “A” Arms
Brakes: Four-Wheel Disc with ABS

Dimensions:
Wheelbase: 106”
Overall Length: 182.6”
Overall Width: 74.9”
Overall Height: 51.5”
Front Track: 63.7”
Rear Track: 65.3”
Front Tires: P245/45R19
Rear Tires: P245/45R20

If produced it would have went well against the camaro and the mustang, oh well

I actually think that Demon concept looks pretty sharp. I don't what's really there to complain about.

I like the interior, but that is it. I think Dodge has a problem getting their signature grill to work. I don't understand why they are so determined to make sure every car has that ugly grill....

So, I'm posting up the pix of this and my 2 year old boy walks up and says, "Dodge". Yep...guess he recognized either the bull head or the front end of that sucka to know it was a Dodge. Funny....very funny.

I just noticed that the air vents in the interior look amazingly like the air vents in the new generation of the mustang. I personally think that this car is possibly in the top ten ugliest concepts i have ever seen.

Yes, he can say Hemi.

I am not kidding when I say he knows cars. When we walk in parking lots, I point out every car and it's "symbol" telling him what it is. He has an infatuation w/ cars like his daddy...hehe. He'll call'em out when we drive. I couldn't figure out what the hell "people" was until he said it about the fifth time and finally touched a Ford blue oval. My wife finally figured it out at this time and said he pointed towards a Ford where a bunch of people were standing and she told him "people", thinking he was talking about the people standing around the Ford. He thought the blue oval meant people....hehe.

I dont think it looks that bad but it could use a little re-designing. I think it looks like a cross between a honda S2000 and a Viper

The front definitely looks like the charger, and the rear looks a lot like the 350Z. Overall I don't think it looks bad, but you won't ever see me in one of those.

This is a near miss of being a decent little car, its missing something! Its like they couldn't make up there minds. From some angles it looks tough, and from others angles it looks like a sad little car with druppy lines. Funny!

Well, I just read in Motor Trend that Dodge is aiming this at the Mazda MX-5, not so much at the GM mini convertibles. But that said, I kinda like it. I've always been a fan of both GM and Dodge, and Dodge would definitely benefit from having some sort of 2-seat roadster in the low-$20k range, so who knows? If not this then something else next year. Seems like every few years Dodge decides to show a "Viper's baby brother" concept but nothing ever happens with it. Anyone remember the Copperhead? now THAT was a nice looking ride.
