MB you will. it will take a couple months. maybe like two or three but trust me you will. aftermarket will take care of that for sure. heck you could probably get all different kinds. like a universal one that had like six colors or something.

So, if I were to order the car in silver with black leather and the orange accent, will it come with orange stitching on the seats just like the original prototype?

In a interview with Automobile magazine, Cheryl Pilcher, (Camaro Product Manager), states that the ambient lighting comes with leather seats in blue light and orange red light if you get the Inferno Orange accent group. She also hints that GM will have differnt color accessories.

I'm guessing since it is a light tube and not typical led light strip technology that it may just be a matter of changing a bulb or module of some sort.

If you don't opt for leather seats your concerns are over anyway.

Since it consists of orange stitching in the door panels, console, gear shift knob, steering wheel and possibly the visors, as well as orange insert panel in the seat and the orange piping, I'm going to take a guess at $600-$1000.

I hope they also use orange stitching on the SS logo on the head rest, steering wheel and gauge cluster rather than white or silver.

I almost forgot. Don't forget custom floor mats with orange SS on them.

It would be nice to have more than just the orange accent package, but just try to imagine the extra time, labor and machinery it would take to pull that off. I doubt we will see any other colors groups like it for a while. That's part of why I want it. Not a lot of people are going to spring for a loaded SS with leather and an accent color they don't even like or wouldn't go good with the exterior color they get or want.

Looking forward to seeing a REAL interior w/ the blue and orange ambient lighting.

That'll help me to decide exterior color.

Holy old thread revival Batman!

Yes, you will have ambient lighting on the doors. You ordered a 2SS, and it is standard on the 2SS, not available on the 1SS.

Part #92221511 is "floor mats front and rear black with orange logo and orange edges" list price $140.
The orange accent interior is another $500 and includes all the orange stitching, leather sea inserts, SS stitching, orange ambient lighting and I THINK something different about the color around the speedo and tach but I can't remember specifically what that difference is. I'd guess that console guages etc. are still blue.

No problem, I have used them in the past. If anyone uses them post some pics here and on their site for people to see!

I plan to use them for my Camaro. My sister wants me to add some ABL to her car now too.
