21" Tire and Wheel Package

This could be a sale thread, a trade thread or just an opinion thread. There is a dealer that had the inferno orange and the yellow SS Camaros. However, both of them include the $4,865 wheel package with the Black 21" wheels. The wheels are cool, but I'm not sure I want to spend the $5k on wheels. Unfortunately, the dealer won't remove the wheels, so if I want the car, I have to buy the wheels. However, I actually prefer the polished aluminum wheels which are much less expensive. So...

1. If I bought the car, would anyone be interested in buying these off me and including your polished aluminum wheels as part of the purchase?

I would be interested, but I'd check with your dealer first. It appears that you have been had.

You should get both sets. The regular wheels are apart of the general price of your car and your 21's are an add on. Just like if you were to get a suspension upgrade in your car later. The old springs are still yours. Not the best example but you know what i mean.

The problem is, NO ONE will buy your 21's for $5k and the 20's that come with your car are the midnight silver rims, NOT the polished ones. There's not a HUGE difference but it is noticeable. You'd be much better off looking for another car and saving yourself $5k.

Look at the window sticker. If both sets are on there, they are both yours. The dealer has the option to remove them if he wants becuase you didn't order the car, but he will have to change the MSRP on the sticker. Just because they were on the sticker doesn't mean he HAS to give them to you. BUT, you don't HAVE to buy the car.

These 21 inch wheels are awesome. But DO NOT BUY THEM. it will cost you 2 thousand dollars if to replace the tires. No sign of them coming down any time soon. Find a different car.

Thats why there are so many take off 20's on ebay, dealers are keeping them and selling them for extra profit.
