If you think about it, the torque gauge is only fun to watch move until you realize that you're not looking at the road and hit a tree.

Oil pressure and temps are the really important thing here. I'd prefer it if they gave us only those two, made them twice as large, and put them in a better location, but I'll take this. It certainly beats having to cycle through the DIC just to see an oil temp readout like I have to do on my Cobalt.

I would still rather have the torque gauge, they should have dropped the battery gauge, who needs that

Production Camaro Aux. Gauges Captured

Not sure if this has been posted yet...but someone over at GMI got a shot of the Camaro's aux. gauges...nothing new, just a pretty detailed picture of them.

I won't be ordering them in mine - what's going to go in the space the gauges are designated for?

Personally I like the Idea of having the gauge package, yes they may not be exactly where I would like them but at least they are available. On my 4th gen I have aftermarket Oil pressure and Water Temp Gauges on the A-pillar, come to find out the oil pressure gauge from the factory reads between 10 to 15 psi higher than actual, I like to know what happening with my engine instead of finding out from the dummy light after damage has already occurred to the engine.

The torque gauge would have been cool but in the long run I think it could have caused a few accidents by not having your eyes on the road.

Are the gauges part of the RS package or a separate option?

RS is exterior changes only. The gauges should be available with everything but the base LS v6.

We have a winner! The LS will feature less options. This is an options that will probably surprise a lot of people with its price. Gauges aren't cheap.
