First 2010 Camaro on the Dyno With Vortech YSI Supercharger

First YSI on a 2010 Camaro.

I am happy to report that with 1 lb LESS boost we made 10 More HP and same torque.

Now it is time to turn up the wick a bit.

The Lower Green Line is the Boost for the YSI

And the Fuel Pressure is a wee bit Better.

562 RWHP at 6550 RPM and 500 RWTQ at 5350 RPM,

OMG, 610 RWHP 545 RWTQ 9 PSI Boost 15 degrees timing 12.0 A/F Fuel System Is Tapped Out fuel pressure drops to 48 psi.

This is incredible results for such low boost isnt it? At 5200 rpm its barely pushing 3.5 pounds of boost and its pumping 500whp???LOW engine stress hi whp!

I like this tq curve over the instant max that the maggies do. This would be MUCH easier on the drive train parts. Nice numbers Ted.

How much do the headers contribute to the lower boost needs?

Centrifugal cars act more like NA cars when it comes to headers, the boost does not change as much, maybe a 1/2 lb.

Unlike the PD blowers which don't care what is in the way they are going to pump the air, so when you add headers you lose 1 psi of boost.

Headers are going to make any package more efficient which leads to more power.

I think Vortech 5th gens are gonna be the ones to beat at the track once these kits really catch on. With a decent blower cam this setup would prolly make 650rwhp!
