Yeah like someone else said earlier, I also am not that blown away. It's not like they were showing how it stays on the road in snowy conditions, they were just driving around a wide open area.

It is what it is. The car wasn't meant to handle like a dream in wintery conditions. It's drivable, yes. But I know the back end on mine has slid around a few times even when driving very conservatively.

No issues on the curves or hills. I even passed a 4x4 stuck on a hill.

If we get the snow predicted for tomorrow I will make a video of myself driving around the hills near my house. Unless its 24 inches then I'm staying home. I noticed that the SUV's are the ones I always see stuck on in a ditch. 4WD doesn't help a stupid driver.

I bought a preferred package through tirerack.com for the winter. In my 51 years of hanging around this Great White Country of ours, I've driven a lot of RWD vehicles in winter.

I can honestly say the Camaro is the best handling in these conditions than any other RWD vehicle I've had.

And I agree with Coldpants...4WD and winter, tends to make stupid people dumber! LOL

I was busy today, I had places to go and I went in my Camaro. It live in Montreal and there was a snow storm today. I had to cross icy bridges, go through areas that had not been plowed yet and the 2010 Camaro handled it all perfectly. I used my BT phone all day to keep in touch and do business from the car, the car didnt' let me down in any way. BTW, I had perma grin most of the time and loved the way that my "comerade" my Camaro was there for me. Dragon22, I am all of 42 and also have had many RWD and 4WD cars and have thankfully never had any dumb accidents because of the way I overestimated my rides of the moment. It all comes down to common sense and good tires, RWD OR any drive!

This Camaro is very easy to live with, I love it more every day!

It's not the Snow that turns it black, It's all the crap they spread on the snow that makes the snow dirty and that turns your car black..(or a black car Gray) I have a white Sunfire, and only a couple miles of drivign in the snow will make it look terrible... BUT it goes AnYWHERE in the snow that I have driven on regular all season tires... so the Camaro and HHR stay home and I drive the Convertible in the snow...I even felt like putting the top down and taking some pictures of it in the snow this morning...LOL

My SS did fine in the snow when we had some here in CA. It's the black ice that it does not do so well in.

I live in the Sierra mountain foothills where we get snow occasionally but I'm only 30 min from real snow. So don't think none of CA gets snow.

In CT as well, I have a 1SS/RS with the 20's. I just didn't bother to get winter wheels and tires. This car just won't see snow like that, if it's snowing, I'm staying home or taking out my "official beater car" Honda s2000 with snow tires instead.

NO PROBLEM & FUN !!!

Last night here by the lake in Northern IL we got one of the fastest snowfalls I have ever seen here, lake-front effect put down 3" per hour for 2 hours, I went out not knowing it started as it started FAST. I didn't have my usual 150# of sand in the trunk, and my tank was just about empty. Anyway I got around great, cars were going in ditches all over, But 225/60/18" Blizzak LM-25 snow tires ROCK. SWEET !!! People look at me around here and laugh, until I beat them in their 4x4 trucks to 50mph. I start in 2nd gear and GOOD-BYE.

this video fails at showing us how it handles in the snow. going in a striaght line doesnt prove anything.
visual scenery is good but the video doesnt show braking, power slides, winter drifting...

A Camaro in the snow IS fun no more than that it is a BLAST. We have had about 5 feet of snow this year, SO FAR, and our Camaro has not been in need of a push yet. It is a driver's car. If you are only going to dirve it in fair weather you are missing out on half the fun. We got our car as a second work car. My wife drives it to work, granted we only live about a mile from where she works but she dirves it in the snow and rain and even when it nice out. We took dilivery July 27 and we have 4700 miles on it 900 was on vacation. You purchased this car to have fun ENJOY IT.

One of the guys I work with has an '08 Z06. It is in his garage right now with 2010 km on it. I could never let a car like that sit like that. Okay...you wouldn't want to drive it in the winter, but during the rest of the year...open it up!

I can't believe anyone would put such a nice car through that kind of a mess.

good Lord, buy a beater (IE - a Mustang ) and keep the Camaro in storage until nice weather comes along.

I think it would be quite comical to see a video of a guy doing that with a SS with the summer tires. And kind of interesting at the same time, for curiosity sake.
