Hey guys - with the little time I have I haven't been able to make a big video yet, but this is a quick taste at the difference. BTW - Camera mic does absolutely no justice for the incredible sound coming out of my baby now!

Thats the best sounding so far Camaro with flows I have heard it has that 40 series sound just a little.

Ive got DT shorty headers, custom X pipe and dual super 44s and it sounds mean!

Long tubes are calling my name though!

Yes sir - that will be coming, but with the weather lately and with my work schedule it has been difficult to get good video. Once I do - it will be up here!

Sounds fantastic! It's hard to top the classic sound of Flowmasters. I've been waiting for a good clip of headers and flows, and looking forward to an update. Thanks for the video.

Not sure what you are asking - it sounds good in the car while driving even at high speeds. Radio is kind of pointless but hey - the sound is better than a radio IMO

There seems to be a "not-so-sweet spot" where theses cars like to "drone" w/ headers...at about 1800-2000 rpms on the highway, when your in 5th or 6th gear...kinda cruising, maybe on the throttle a little. Drone is like an annoying, almost vibrating noise...kinda like a "woooowooooooooooooh" (sorry that's the best I can describe it). Kinda makes your ears want to bleed after a while if it's loud enough.

Some exhaust's do it more than others.

Do you notice anything like that?

I get that only when DOD kicks in - which I am tuning out

ARH Headers with ARH High Flow Cats - and the flowmaster connects right to ARH cats

there's 2 different kits...one for cat-back systems and one that has an x-pipe (to connect to the stock mufflers or an axle back).

Actually there are several options for ARH and there are 2 different kits for flowmaster.

The ARH kits are:
Long Tubes w/o cats (straight pips off-road)
Long Tubes w/ high flow cats
Long Tubes w/cats and x
Long Tubes w/o cats and w/X
(They will pretty much give you whatever you need)

BTW - ARH does make full exhaust kits.

Flowmaster has two
Cat-Back (Summit #: FLO-817481)
Axle-Back (Summit #: FLO-817483)

So you used just the ARH "short" longtube system where it necks down to 2.5 out of the cats so it wil connect to the stock or aftermarket catback??

I assume your flowmaster catback is 3 inch but necks down to 2.5 at the beginning, in order to run with factory downpipes and cats. Thats how my 3 inch JBA catback is and I'm contemplating doing the same thing as you... just might get annoyed of that LITTLE area that is 2.5 and everything else everywhere is 3.0 ya know?
