These are things on my checklist left to do to the car.

Must haves:
Afterburner tails
quad diffuser
rear emblem on
my wheels

Really want, but only maybe:
Dash ABL with CF/painted panels
Steering wheel and shift knob refinished
Special headliner project

Maybes:
CTS-V recaros
big brakes
vented fenders

Any vendors looking to do a partial/full sponsorship on any of the maybes?

Well I get a instant message from my tuner. The car is down to 5 psi after longtubes and 3" exhaust, and that's WITH the pulley upgrade I was sent from Procharger.

Called Procharger up and spoke to a technician who got me squared away with the correct pulley that I need. That's being sent out today and will arrive sometime next week.

The issue is that I might have to pay for a re-tune because the tuner did spend the time tuning the car.

More time and money wasted. This is becoming upsetting and discourages me from modding my car any further at all. Not feeling too happy right now.

Bro, it's tough... I'm climbing out of my skin wanting my car to progress, but.... It's crazy in some cases....As well as mine was planned, we can't help what the vendors on the supply end do... I'm still waiting on a shortblock, and my Turbo kit should be shipped today... Shortblock by early next week, Monday, Tuesday the latest, according to the engine builder...

Just think how awesome it's going to be when you get it back ready to go....thats what I keep telling myself...

That's if I keep having emergency money to fix all these "oops". It's just money wasted...Yah it will be awesome, if it ever gets done...

It's just disheartening is all. Thanks for your concern. =)

Yeah, car is already tuned for the 5 psi it's at now. I just will most likely have to pay to retune it. I might just stay with the 5 psi (lower hp then without the headers...) for a while.

But, all that REALLY means, is everything is working very efficiently, which is a good thing! New pulley and a tune, not a major deal, but yes, costs $$.

Minor setback, but easier overcome!

Exactly what I was thinking, if he was able to drop 4lbs of boost then hes breathing alotttt better now. I wonder if the larger tubes on the headers gained him the extra, since most 17/8 headers drop 2lbs. A 4lb swing is great for only headers & exhaust. The only thing I dont get is why you would dyno lower flowing that much better. Even with a 2lbs drop, I would of thought you would be around your previous numbers or better. You might need a smaller belt for that new pulley they are sending over if you haven't thought about it. Im looking forward to seeing what you can get out of this setup with the proper boost, good luck on the build man

I'm only 8 hp lower than my previous numbers, but that's 2 psi lower with the smaller pulley.

I don't need a new belt for the new pulley. It's just a matter of replacing the pulley and tuning again.

Well I was able to get on it yesterday for the first time since picking the car up Saturday morning. It sounds phenomenal! It's pretty quiet and tame until I get on it, and when I do, the car sounds angry. There is no drone at all, just a light hum under load between 1000-1400. I don't get a headache from it, like I did with the MBRP that a friend used to have in his car with lt's.
