Differences in Upgradeability Between B.A. 9 Speaker System VS. LS/LT/1SS Speakers

Ok I feel like a sticky of some sort should be made once all these questions are answered.

1. If you have a non-Boston Accoustic stock system, what are your upgrade options?

2. Is it possible to connect just a sub to the system to significantly improve the sound?

3. What are the differences in terms of amps and connectors on base unit vs 9speaker BA unit?

4. Are the factory MTX upgrade kit compatible with 1SS sound system?

5. Any DIY on upgrading 1SS vs upgrading 2SS sound system?

Audio option

Spend the money to upgrade the entire audio system, both amp and speakers. JL Audio has a complete engineered package that includes, subwoofer, enclosure, coaxial front and rear speaks and an amp to power it all.
