Engine skipping?

Has anyone put an aftermarket exhaust on their car and it feels like the engine bucks or is misfireing? What type of exhaust did you add?

Pretty common on the A6 cars due to the crappy DOD stuff. I've had a few Camaro owners come in for a tune to delete that function because the exhaust sounded terrible when it went 4 cylinder.
