I don't think it will look the same because if it was they could just put it in the Camaro when it comes out.

Hello, sorry if this has been asked before. I'm new and haven't read though all the threads yet.

Does anyone know if the Body Color Lighted Trim Kit is the same as the ambient lighting for the cars with leather interior and if so are those 3 colors optional colors instead of the default blue that I've been seeing?

I'm assuming the front one is the stock spoiler and the rear one is the blade spoiler? It's kind of hard to tell w/o it on the car. It looks pretty sweet though.

It is more aggressive than the stock spoiler but not as extravagant as the big wing and it still looks good with stripes. Oh yeah, nice find btw.

I'll have to see it on the car. As it stands I prefer the stock spoiler...

Seriously though, this long list of accessories makes me think the stock version falls short with inferior components. They can be options for the LS or LT, but things like the airbox upgrade, exhaust upgrade, and blade spoiler should be standard on the SS version. Would these be factory-installed or dealer-installed? Why should the top-of-the-line model require performance upgrades?

Most of the upgrades mentioned are "aftermarket" parts for almost all car companys. IMO GM is being very smart in how they are marketing this car. The "normal" camaro appeals to most people. But they are also appealing to the younger tuner crowd with these "after market" parts. This car really needs to be a big success for GM as a whole. The more people they can get intersted in the Camaro the better.

because not everyone wants them so they save the consumer the money of not including them on the car

if every top of the line car was built so it didnt need upgrades no one would drive the top of the line because they would all cost 100's of thousands of dollars

manufacturers look at cost vs performance vs consumer expectations

also those would be dealer installed

Awesome! The whole time I've seen the stock spoiler I've always thought it looks good, I just wished it was bigger. The blade is perfect for me.

anybody know what width rims will be able to fit the camaro front and rear? I am at least hoping 20x9 in the front and 20x11 or 20x12 in the rear..... According to GM accessories the 21" will fit but what width?

I know this has been beaten to death, but I wish less time would have been spent making the body kit junk and more time getting the HUD in the first release.

Two different departments for camaro accessories? No wonder you need a bailout.

accessories and engineered interior parts are not in the same division. but it does seem like you did your part, since you bought an SSR

I suppose you want the drivetrain team to work on the HUD install as well? It's dissapointing that the HUD is delayed but I don't see these issues as being related and you're making a lot of assumptions as to what is causing the delay. I agree the HUD is way cooler and more important than a body kit for a car that doesn't need one, but there's no point in getting upset over it or blaming the teams working on other parts of the car. There might even be some good reasons behind the delay beyond GM's control, which we may or may not ever find out about.

I, personally, have no use for the HUD. I'm extremely happy there is a GFX kit available upon release. They took WAY too long to get one on the 4th Gens...

But I can understand how you feel. Had HUD been available but not a nice set of GFX I'd be in your position.

At least they aren't going to give us something that hasn't met all their tests and certifications. We'd all be pretty pizzed if we had the stuff and it didn't work. I'm sure they're working as hard and fast as possible to get everything on-line and make as many people happy and enthusiastic about the car as possible.

JMHO.

The best way to get the gfx done is find a good shop and have them painted on.
