2010 Chevrolet Camaro makes final 3 list for 2010 World Car Design of the Year - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

We recently reported that the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro has made the final four finalists (from 30 nominated cars) for the 2010 World Car Design of the Year. Well, the list was whittled down to just three finalists and the names were announced this week at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. The three design finalists are:

Chevrolet Camaro
Citroën C3 Picasso
Kia Soul

The World Car Design of the Year award is meant to highlight new vehicles with innovation and style that push established boundaries. A design panel consisting of five highly respected world design experts asked to first review each candidate, and then establish a short-list of recommendations for the jurors. The original list consisted of 30 different cars.

The final winner will be revealed at the New York International Auto Show on Thursday, April 1, 2010.

Qell I have no idea what the citroen looks like. And the kia is about as cool as a car in that segment can be, but c'mon - its gotta be the Camaro all the way!

I don't understand how the other 2 are even compared. Totally different style of car. Either way, the camaro should definitely win.

Seriously thats the competition for the Camaro, I'm a little disappointed they couldn't pick some better cars to go against the Camaro. O well atleast we know it will win.

Really pretty amazing to see an American muscle car in the final lineup for something like this. This is great news for GM design team and a good example of the value of really paying attention to your customer base and not compromising when bringing a car from design concept to the showroom floor

Folks do need to bear in mind that for most of the world a 426hp V8 car is pretty much an interesting but not 100% relevant daydream - especially when you consider how much folks in other countries pay for a camaro compared to in US - so clearly we are all rooting for the Camaro for a load of reasons - but the Kia soul for example costs almost one third of the price of a 2SS/RS - so that is a far more accessible car to most of the world than the Camaro.

here is a dilemma:

Citroën C3 Picasso
Kia Soul

I have seen both in Europe and they look exact same. why they have both in there is beyond me. some copied someone with these two cars.

Pretty Obvious choice for me who will win
