2011 / 2012 Camaro Convertible Top-Down Spy Shots
Reported on Homepage Blog.
Well I was driving this evening and saw this (in Madison Heights, MI at 12 Mile and I-75) convertible mule driving the opposite way I was. So I quickly turned around and caught up to it. The guy actually talked to me at a stop light and confirmed it would be in dealer showrooms next April. Sorry they are camera phone shots... Enjoy!

Nice shots given you were moving. Now just waiting for pricing & options and when orders will be taken. I was told at one of the Meet & Greets by a reliable source that info would be forthcoming this Spring. Still anxiously awaiting . . .

Nice pics. So V6 with IO inteior, nice. I think with a taller rear spoiler and with all the widows down, I think the vert will actuall look very nice, it's a whole different look though. Coupe looks mean, tank like. The vert looks like a showcar/cruising car. Nice. The camaro will be fillling every type of dream soon. Good job on getting the pics

You know, it really wouldn't be bad if the windows were down. Other then the shark fin and 3rd light, I kinda like it.

Thank you for posting them!...aaaand they prove to me that I made the right choice by NOT waiting for the vert. Don't particularly like the look (with the top down). Meh. However, I'm sure there are convertible fans drooling like crazy right now!!  Not for me, but more Camaros =  A little something for everyone!

Yet again, it's still a mule, guys, so don't get too in a bunch about the random fin & light on the trunk. Think of it like the way the prototype headlights used to look driving around, even pretty late in the game.
Could be like that, could not. Could be a mixture. Engineering mules are just that, mules of cobbled together parts. Hence the V6 car with an SS front clip, etc. We'll see. Otherwise, it'll be a great car. Just hold your horses on nitpicking weird parts on a mule
