My wife didn't like the color on the solstice(it was a cloudy day and looked more red that day). For those of you who have seen it in person, how is the reaction to it from others that you have noticed. Do most love it (even the folks who don't like orange) or it is more love it/hate it from your experience?

Thanks guys, switching to black is in my mind, but i am trying hard to stick with my guy choice of IOM.
That is the great thing about IOM / Brazen, in the morning it looks one color, mid day another, and at sunset a dark deep orange. I am adding another IOM/Brazen to my stable; I have had more complements on this color, more than any other color I have owned.

They are not for everybody, and they are painted Brazen now. This is the only car I have ever put splashguards on, being that low to the ground does brings a lot of rocks and dust your way. I am not a big fan, and "No Mudflaps" on the Camaro, I promise.

lmao i think they should look better now that they are painted, but i agree with the rocks, that would be sad to see the scraapes, but your idea of No mudflaps is a good one for your Camaro!
II went to see the colour today, and its is a very ugly day today, and it still looked like a beautiful orange, i was very impressed with it for being in the clouds, i know my brothers mustang which is Mineral Grey, looks more goldy on cludy days, the IOM looks great.
The one thing is, when i saw it at night, it looked more browny, maybe because i went into the dealership seeing it in bright orange, and by the time i left it was dark, so it looked very brown, do you find that it looks browney at night, or does it still look great?
P.S for CGM, it looked more like a paley blue grey when cloudy, i hope my stripes wont look bad on cloudy days

Wrong title on the YouTube video at this link but this is the first IOM video i've seen, the color seems to be more accurately displayed in the video. Looks pretty orange on my monitor.

I don't trust the color in that photo...I had a Fuji camera that would make orange look red. Not saying IOM isn't reddish, but I don't think it would look THAT red in person. That looks straight up red in my eyes.

Some good comparison pics to Victory Red. The IOM is the second one up from the bottom of the image.

And 3rd one up from bottom of image here:

Does anyone know who might be able to do a wallpaper for the PC with Inferno Orange SS with White Rally stripes? I have seen some photos in here, but no photo shop renditions in that color match. My SS2RS should be in in 3-4 weeks!!!!

This is so awesome! I think there is a big difference in the IOM and VR. I know they could be mistaken, but I can see the color difference right off the bat when they sit side by side.

The funny part will be when someone ask what color my car is and I say IOM, then they say, no it's VR. 6months worth of "oh, not again"...

I'm telling you first and foremost that internet pictures dont do IOM justice. I was really worried about picking IOM untill and few weeks ago I dropped off my Pontiac at the dealer I'm ordering my Camaro from for a tune up and they had a Colorado in IOM.

Its really a beauty to see it up close, it chages color on a cloudy day. You have to see it in person, and if you live real close to a dealer with a IOM vehicle, look at it in the morning then afternoon then at night time. Truely is one hell of a color.

Yea vic red is a mix of dark red and orange so it looks lot like IOM. But it does not have the metal flakes. You can see it on the area around the brake lamp. How it's brighter, more reflection.

The color is very nice and it's on my used SS wish list for Operation Vulture.

Midnight? One is standard alloy other is polished. Maybe both same.. could be angle.

In the tires forum there is a nice thread with all the wheel options and details.
