Fun Drives in NorCal?

Anyone have any fun roads to cruise in? A few curves here and there maybe?

So far all I have been able to drive is:
Up Mt. Diablo, Altamont Pass Rd., Patterson Pass, HW 84, San Felipe Rd. near San Jose.

Nothing beats just cruisn on a nice day so any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Being in Tracy, I only know one road that's remotely close. I grew up in Clayton on Morgan Territory road, and that's a decent backroad type place to cruise, also is Ygnacio Valley Road from where it splits with Morgan Territory. Both go for miles, but just be careful with the turns, it's only a 2 lane road and the blind corners aren't a place to speed, but for cruising it's a very enjoyable drive. On the peninsula there's Skyline, Hwy9, 84, and the four corners area. If there were no police or traffic, I'd love to cruise on the napa wine country roads.

ooooh i forgot about the morgan territory area its been awhile since ive been out there. As for the rest of it im hoping the forecast is off tommorow and it wont rain so that I can cruise around more. A day like today would be perfect.

Thank you for the tips Mindz

Hwy 88 thru Valley Springs to Hwy 26 is a short 2 hour drive that's nice and not that far from Tracy. Also Hwy 108 to Sonora.

[QUOTE=Jay2SS109;1579713Bayarea wise: Kings Mtn Road coming out of Woodside, up to Skyline Blvd. If you want to get a lil more crazy, Cross over Skyline, and go down Tunitas Creek Road, all the way to Highway 1. One of my all time favorite twisty roads. Its narrow, but a lot of fun.

J[/QUOTE]

I will second Tunitas Creek .. been doing that one for almost 30 years.
And any of the roads off Four Corners/ Alice's in Woodside are always fun

I try to cruise up to Alices (4 corners) at least once a week. 84, 35, 9, page mill, kings mntn, 92, and 1 all have to be some of the nicest roads in NorCal.

Hwy 4 in the summer time is beautiful. You can take Hwy 4 to Hwy 88, then back over 88 to Jackson. If you don't want to end up in Jackson, head into South Lake from 88. I live at the top of Hwy 4 (7200ft) and enjoy all the roads into area!!

Hwy 108/120, HWY 88 out of stockton, HWY 26 out of stockton, HWY 49 out of Sonora is great too. You can take HWY 108 all the way over Sonora pass then down to 395.
