Pic request: Imperial Blue Metallic / Aqua Blue Metallic

I am about 75% for Imperial Blue w/ white stripes and 25% for the Aqua Blue Metallic w/ black stripes. My previous 02 SS was Dark Blue Metallic and the color was breath taking with Zaino. I am trying to find some pics on these new blues. Does anyone have any pics or info. possibly? I have already seen the colors on the chevy site.... looking for real pics. Thanks all!

Aqua Blue doesn't come through very well in photos, but here it is...

Imperial Blue is very NBMesque...

I'd be super happy if it were close to NBM. I heart that color

This color should be close to the Aqua..... this will be along the lines of what I would do if I got the Aqua. Love the black stripes on this color.

Well that's the best I've seen Aqua Blue look. But still not "lovin it". May have to settle for Victory Red or Orange.

Ugh, I still can't decide which color I want. This picture does not help either...it has all four of my color options lined up in a row:

Option 1: Aqua Blue with White Stripes + blade spoiler
Option 2: Red Jewel with Black Stripes + blade spoiler
Option 3: Imperial Blue with White Stripes + blade spoiler
Option 4: Cyber Grey with Black Stripes + blade spoiler

The closest i would say to seeing it is to go to a chevy dealer and look at it on the vette. aqua blue is a very nice color and Imperial blue is very close to the blue from the 2002s

The bright blue color on the Vette is NOT Aqua Blue and it's not the same color as Jet Stream Blue. When you go to the dealership, look for an HHR in this color.

I think I might like Aqua Blue better than Jetstream Blue. Aqua blue is a medium blue without light but with light it is a lighter blue, it gives you the best of both worlds. Look at the hood in this pic:

The two colors are in the same brightness line, but Aqua Blue has more green in it. A pretty color, but no for me. And, as my husband keeps pointing out to me, we already have plenty of blue cars.

SURVEY SAYS: x

we have a dark blue metallic 1967 Camaro hardtop, Marina Blue Metallic '67 'vert, 2002 NBM Firehawk, 1986 Chevy Silverado and 1972 Oldsmobile 98 4dr in clones of NBM in our family... we dont need any more blue cars... lol

and we have a car that is painted "Nighthawk Black Pearl" which has metallic blue flake in it... so all tolled, there are 6 blue cars in this family.

to her credit, the '86 Silverado and '72 Olds do not belong to us... they belong to my Dad.

The Aqua Blue just needs to be seen in person. It looks different in different lighting conditions. I haven't seen two pictures that look the same or look the same as what I saw in person. I've seen the color in two different places and on two different HHRs and even those two looked different.

It dosen't! The awesome blue they are suggesting is called Jetstream Blue. There is a poll in the cosmetics thread asking GM to give us Jetstream Blue, its an incredible color. We are currently just under 90% in favotr of Jetstream, please go and vote. Even if you arent interested in a Blue Camaro, help your Camaro comrades that are. PLEASE!!!

Call me nuts, but I don't see a lot of green in ABM. And the IBM looks great, but even though I know it's splitting hairs, I wouldn't be able to see it on a camaro versus a firebird. Late fourth gen birds in NBM were just MADE for that color with the honeycomb taillight assemblies.. The pictures of that HHR at Indy seem to show ABM as being quite similar, a little brighter maybe than Lemans, which could be the coolest camaro color of all time. I think I just decided to get an ABM 1LT 6M with hurst and blade. Call it the "Lieutenant"

Actually, look at the first picture of HHR at top from the front, and look at where the sun hits it. That's about the most accurate shot of the color. It's a lighter blue, and it has a light green hue to it as well, especially in direct light.

More ABM

Here is another photo I posted after returning from Indy that shows more of the aqua tint. As others have said, no two photos appear the same. I spent a few minutes trying to get the shot as green as possible, hoping to match my Bird.

I sure hope the make this color available in the SS. I can't see spending money on a new car if it is not exactly what I want.
