Good GPS with bluetooth?

Do anyone have a good suggestion of a GPS portable unit for the car that has Bluetooth so you can use your phone for hands-free?

I have the Garmin 765T, it works really well.

http://www.amazon.com/Garmin-765T-4-...8425269&sr=8-1

I got it based on the reviews on Amazon and this site.

Is there a service fee to use the bluetooth function or update maps?

No there is no service fee with bluetooth it is basically a short range wireless connection and the traffic info etc. is all updated via radio frequency and is free for the life of the product. Some of the models require a MSN subscription, thats why I went with this model.

The 1490T is basically the same as the 765T but the 1490T has a larger 5" screen instead of a 4.3". Both are the same resolution and the same features.

I have a Garmin Nuvi 780, use it in my police car...the bluetooth is excellent, take phone reports over it all the time. Also has a built in MP3 player with FM Broadcast. Just use a 4, 6 or 8GB memory card (I have a 4GB in mine with about 700 songs on it right now)

I bought a top end Garmin with BT about two years ago and I was really disappointed. The BT always dropped out and audio quality was very poor. I've had several Garmins over the years but I doubt if I will buy more any time soon. IMO Garmin is getting cheap. You might be better off getting a GPS for GPS only and a BT unit for BT. Sorry, no GPS/BT recommendations other than my bad experience with Garmin.

I'm using a Clarion Mind right now. It has some good features like a ecent GPS, traffic, weather and it will Google something then route to it (only if you have WIFI.) This unit has BT but I don't use it. The audio sucks and it has a lot of features that I don't want or need. It also lacks GPS detail in rural areas, it's fine in cities. (It think it's based on Navteq or something.) At about 120 to 150 bucks it still beats the heck out of most any GPS unit in that price range.

I've got the Garmin NuVi 1690. Comes with lifetime free traffic updates. It pretty much rocks as far as I'm concerned. Zero problems and very user friendly. Bluetooth will hook up to the car as well.
