With the rain that's been here just about EVERY weekend for the past month, I haven't had a chance to wash her and have her look good long enough.
SO I finally gave her a good rub down this afternoon, and I can honestly she looks amazing!

Can't wait to drive her tomorrow.

I know!
When we got it, the headlights were all yellow, the front bumper didn't match the body, the back bumper had cracked paint, the mirrors were faded, the dash had residue (from a dashmat.

), the quarter panel with the gas cap got gas underneath the paint, and the driver's side tailight had a whole in it.
Thankfully, my dad had a couple connections and a few handy kits on hand, and we were able to clean her up pretty well.
Unfortunately, the chemicals we used on the dash wrecked the back half, so we ended up having to spray paint it, so it doesn't really match the rest of the interior, but a little leather cleaner fixes that for the most part.

Damn, I never really realized how much more purple your camaro is than mine! Looks great, I always get crap for having a purple Camaro though :p

Haha. I get a lot form my friends. I remember one of them asking me, "Are you sure you're not black?"

So if yours is a '94, that makes it Purple Pearl Metallic, right?
And after looking at your profile, I noticed you're two weeks younger than me, so I guess that makes us Camaro buddies.

I actually wasn't certain on the purple when I went to look at it. It grew on me pretty quickly though.
And then two months later, it hit me that it was purple.

Ya know, ive been reading the threads on the pink challenger and purple cars. Basically alot of folks bashing or making fun of those that have somewhat diffrent colors and let me tell you, Im glad there are people that have the balls to drive something thats not the everyday boring black, white, silver color. I love all colors under the rainbow. And in the end, those colors that are diffrent are dont sell as much are typically the ones that are most sought after and rarer in the future not to mention usually more valuable.

Haha yeah, it's the purple pearl metallic, which is somewhat good for all the grief i get from my friends. it looks black at night and gray on overcast day, can't make fun of the gray or black lookin 'Maro

That's crazy! I'm guessin this is your first car too?

Yep!
We spent two months looking at Camaros before we got this particular one.
A little google search the night before showed that it was 1 of 431 made in BPM in '98, 1 of 336 V6's. On top of this was the overall good condition of the car, an unheard of 101k miles, and a $3600 price tag (after a little bet. hehe), it was an offer we couldn't refuse.
