CARMAX USED 2010's

Anyone looking for a low milage 2010 Camaro CarMax had at least 40 in various locations. Pricing looked to be near to original sticker. I wonder where they are comming from? Some must be former rental units.

Camaros are all over the lots...new, used...doesn't matter!

Whatever you want you can pretty much find! At least in San Antonio they are....I did a search the other day and found over 50 new and another 100+ used within 50 miles of my zip!

I have been finding many more used V8s than V6s. Dealer I bought from thinks the Gas costs are finally starting to sink in. He just recently had 2 V8s traded in for V6s. I still think it is all based on location. I still think you are going to find more V6s in the bad weather regions.

The dealership I bought from in SATX just acquired several low mile V-6's. They picked them up from rental car companies. Also, they have numerous new V-6's & V-8's in various colors.

You can check any of their vehicles' "History Report" online and it will tell you whether it was a fleet vehicle or not.

That's funny, I just did a search within 250 miles from my location, and found 1 in California.

I think the reason there are more V8s traded in is because V8s cost more and those are coming from people who over extended themselves financially and couldn't make their payments.

My dealer also have about 6 Camaros in various flavors on his lot now. They seem to be catching up with demand. Also, I think when spring comes, more folks will get the itch for a Camaro.

That and the fact more than 2/3 of the 2010's built through like November IIRC were SS's.

Their prices are high for those cars IMO. There's a dealer I found that's selling new for $1k or $2k under invoice probably about only 50mi away from the local Carmax. Not to mention I've been seeing used cars priced less than what Carmax wants for theirs. They may sell them or they may sit since it's becoming very obvious on car dealer lots that the "new" Camaro hype is starting to wear off.

Used rental cars are a bad buy no matter what.

Folks who rent do not treat those cars kindly.
