i am interested to know why they didnt tie in both exhaust pipes into the turbo then have it split into 2 pipes from the turbo out the back. would this not give better spool up because you are pushing double the exhaust gas through the hot side of the turbo. i am still curious to see how this turns out.

IMO it would have looked cooler as a twin turbo, i like things symetrical and balanced.

It's a V6 thing...

Ok.. you are comparing a 2LT price to a 1SS... Don't you need compare the price to a 2SS?

I'm ignorant about these things, however I did notice that it didn't do much, if anything for the torque. Would somebody please explain this for me?

Torque went from 220 at the wheels to 350 at the wheels.

I wonder how this does for the gas mileage on the v6....I have heard from the asian crowds that usually it stays the same. I know Leno's car stayed the same.

With these kind of torque numbers I really start to worry about the transmission. Would be nice to see some real world test #s when these things break. Do we have any aftermarket upgrades available to beef up the tranny?

i was wondering the same thing....i would think it would make a big difference in spool up....but obviously its not entirely necessary given that this thing is still making big power in the lower rpm range

Time to start trying to find a Tremec and a SS diff and axles to go along with the turbo. Looks like the fun has just begun.

And if GM is watching, could a similar factory setup be the next Mustang killa?

The pics only show the turbo hooked up to the passenger side exhaust with what looks like a wastegate on the drivers side exhaust. There has to be a crossover somewhere in the system, right?
