Muffler Delete

I've been meaning to post this since Wednesday. I haven't even listened to my radio since I had this done.

muffler delete

I've been thinking of doing this once I receive my 2011. My question is this... is the muffler delete just as good as the gm upgrade the dealer can install. i can afford the gm version, but if i can get same or better saving money with the muffler delete... why not ?

so, which is better, (money not a concern)?
gm upgrade or muffler delete.
(judge on performance and sound)

Mufflers

I just did this as well, I went with the Borla's which gave it a very nice sound, and I really like the product, but it was still very tame, and they sell for about $600, I went to local muffler shop took off Borlas installed straight pipe, with a MBRP tip (GFX) and I love it, $90 it cost at the muffler shop, and WOW, so I will be selling the Borla's becaue I don't ever plan on changing back, oh and radio, what radio, love the sound,

ok... all this talk about not listening to the radio becuase the exhaust is so "nice" i need to ask.... is the muffler delete so loud you have to turn your radio way up? my lovely wife wouldn't like that very much, and, well, this is her car monday - thursday.

NO, not at all!! I love my muffler delete - The BEST $75 I ever spent. My friends still think I had a custom exhaust installed.

The Radio is just as functional with the muffler delete. You just don't want to listen to it anymore because the rumble is such sweet music.

Nope....as a matter of fact inside the cabin all you have to do is turn up the radio about 1/4 of the way and you barely notice it. Now....I do have the resonated X-pipe on mine so it might be a little quieter than those with just a muffler delete but still it's not going to be that loud inside at all.
