depending on size and if there is also aftermarket exhaust. But with just headers and stock everything else you will really only tell the difference at WOT and Idle. Cruising is about 2x louder but the idle will be meaner and WOT will be screaming loud

Looking at Kooks Long Tube Headers 1 7/8"x 3" - 2010 Camaro SS 6.2L V8 with High flow Cats and it already has the Flowmaster 3" cat back setup

I always tell people headers on a stock catback adds about 10% more sound. Mufflers are really what controls tone and volume.

I just did kooks 1"7/8 longtubes with high flow cats paired up with borla s-types, this car freakin screams above 3500 rpms, I am so happy with it. It's a little louder when normal cruising compared to the catbacks but when you get on it forget about it Thanks to Brandon from MarylandSpeed
