Is there a good tuner for LLT around the Alpharetta/Cumming area?

Planning on getting the new LLT engine HP tune that's supposed to be coming out next month and was wondering if there are any local places that will tune with a good reputation.

I know vengeance does good work, but I was under the impression they mostly work with v8's, and mine is a v6.

Right now I have an AirRaid CAI and an Ark N-II exhaust. Looking to get the new HP tune and possibly some BBK long tube headers to accompany them. Want the tune to help with performance and also get rid of that rev limiter.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated thanks!

Josh @ Spartan LSX Performance in Auburn GA.

He is the man...really knowledgeable and very reasonably priced.

A lot of our members have had our cars work done by him and I haven't heard a single bad thing.

You'll pay more if you go anywhere else.

Also, I don't suggest getting rid of your rev limiter...unless you feel like detonating your motor.

I think as far as rev limiter he has an automatic and wants to remove the limiter when the car is sitting still. I think it holds the rev to 3500 rpms. I've seen a few threads about this lately. Nothing wrong with lifting it, just don't get crazy on it after the fact lol.

This

I don't drive the car hard or to anything crazy with it. But I do have an awesome exhaust and it maxes out around 3500rpms. I just want to be able to get it louder. This is all while in park. It's something I won't even be doing very often, but I want the option when given the opportunity.

Oh and I will check Josh at Spartan out, thanks for the info!

Check with Josh. I'm getting him to tune my LS3 after I install my headers in my car in April. Never heard a bad thing about the guys at Spartan and he quoted me a very reasonable price.

You can't rev past 3500?

I had a 2010 V6 and I could rev past that...but maybe cause I wasn't in park..I ALWAYS shifted to neutral when I revved and could bounce off the 6k rev limiter.

Really? I can't rev past 3500 when I'm in park or neutral. When I'm driving there is no limit

I had a Pontiac Grand Am for my first car. It would hold the rpms to 3500 in park or neutral, not that you wanted to rev that little V6. If you let the car roll at 5-10mph in neutral it would let you rev as high as you wanted. I'm sure it's the same on these. Let it coast some in neutral and I'm sure it'll do the same.

Unfortunately I'm still waiting on the support just like you guys. I've literally got a list that has around 32 names on it from guys all over the SE US waiting on me to tune theirs. I'm gonna have to take 2 weeks and shut down the shop to tune all the V6 cars. LOL

I'll keep you guys updated on when tuning becomes available. As of now neither HPT or EFI Live support the newer V6 engines. All we've got right now are the box tunes.
