Daytime running lights question

On my camaro 2ss when the day time running lights are on there only seems to be one yellow light on on the driver side and the passenger side it is off. Is this normal?

BTW the yellow light i am talking about is the lights that act as blinkers as well. The driver side is always illuminated in yellow and the passenger side is off.

yellow light? As far as I know no 2010 Camaros have yellow DRL's they are either the White fog lights or the regular head lights depending on if you have the RS package or not..

Those are not your DRL's.... it shouldn't be on unless your head lights or blinker is on,

I think those are single purpose lights for directionals only. Daytime running lights are just the fogs, at least on the RS.

So the yellow colored lens lights that funciton as a blinker does not stay on solid? Does those yellow lights have another purpose? Its weird i can't seem to make the car do it again. I had the yellow light on the drivers side stay on solid, i thought it was apart of the daytime running lights cause my old Trans-am had yellow daytime lights.

If you have the RS package then they should only be on with the turn signals or the emergency flashers (blinking only not steady on).. I have noticed sometimes that if the sun is shining right it will look like those lights are on when they are really not...

They are not like the 4th gen's DRL's they do not function as DRL's.

If you had only one of them on and it remained on then you had a problem in the turn signal circuit. it should never be on steady...
