Dynatech Long Tube Headers Review *pics/vids*
Took a ride up to Jannetty Racing the other day to pick up a set of Dynatech Long Tube Headers with cats. It was great to meet Ted as well as all of his great employees. Everybody was so well mannered and helpful. I have the utmost respect for the shop they run up there. Its nice to see a speed shop that actually carries performance parts! As soon as I walked in I saw multiple CAI offerings and exhausts for our camaros, as well as similar offerings for mustangs and mopars.
I put the headers in that evening. The install was a piece of cake. The install was WAY easier than on my 4th gen fbodies. There is a ton of room in this car; it really is a dream to work on. Packaging was done very well. The headers were wrapped in bubble wrap and the rest of the packing was paper. I am really impressed with this whole kit. Not only did it come with OE style gaskets and O2 extensions, but also brand new header bolts! The flanges are nice and thick. Each piece had a sticker somewhere on it from quality control noting that they had passed inspection. The fit and finish of the Dynatech headers is top notch and I love the flange they use at the header collector. It seems to seal up real well. I hooked the Dynatech system right up to the stock H-pipe. I left the stock resonators and mufflers in place. The sound through the stock exhaust is awesome. It is extremely tame at low RPMs but roars above 3500 rpm. That's enough outta me though. Let the pics and vids to the talking! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Never thought that the stock exhaust could sound that good. Very nice. I have run Dynatech on my race cars forever. Awesome choice. When you getting your tune?

very nice, i installed mine back in september. i have a magnaflow 3" catback already so i went with there 3" in/out cats instead of the 3" in/2.5" out cats, magnaflow actually made up an x-pipe that would bolt in from the cats to the existing magnaflow system to make it a true bolt in if you already have a magnaflow exhaust.
i kind of gave it that classic old school big block sound, loud but not droning or annoying. all i can say was wow, 44 hp without a tune, 61 with, granted i do have more mods so my gain is a little more than most but they are very nice headers and easy to install.

Great write up. Those headers look great in there! Is that oil from the filter not being on tight enough?

No codes at all! The install instructions from Dynatech said you will not have any codes

Wow! I really thought when you went to high flow cats, you would definitely get codes. That's why I asked about the tune.
