This is my pride and joy. A 69 Camaro SS in the original Lemans Blue. I want a 5th gen to match, and Jetstream is close enough to satisfy me.

Nice Ride.....my first car was a 69 Camaro, when I was too broke to fix it or give it the proper care it needed.

Very nice. My first car was a 1969 Camaro too. Bought in 1973 with a blown-up small block 350 for $600.00. Rebuilt it, better than new. Also it was LeMans Blue, and also love JSB (Jetstream Blue).

Here is a colour comparison between the different blues we're speaking of. Given the choice, I would take the Vette's Jet Stream Blue, however, guess what! ... It ain't available

I guess GM didn't want to lose any sales from the Corvette!

I would probably choose Jetstream over Aqua if there is any green in Aqua Blue, I haven't seen it in person.

That pic of the HHR in aqua blue dosen't look bad, but it is not indicative of the color in person. In the light it looks like teal with more blue in it. Out of the light it almost flips between dark blue and purple. Plus its a hazy, cloudy looking color. I encourage everyone on this thread to go look at a Colorado or HHR at their local dealership. You WILL be disappointed by the color.

!!!GOOD NEWS???

I'm not sure if it means anything or not, but on Camaroz28.com, they have the ordering workbook posted, and Aqua Blue Metallic is not offered for the SS, in fact neither blue is. Could it be that GM checked out our thread and pulled the blues so that they could offer Jetstream on the SS and they already had the workbook put together. Cross your fingers Guy/girls, we may have pulled a miracle off!!!

I personally made a trip to a Chevy dealer 20 minutes out of town last Sunday to check out a 2009 HHR in Aqua Blue Metallic. The sun was hazy, but even so, this color is waaaaay to drab and has a greenish tint to it. Not attractive in my opinion. I had a 69 LeMans Blue Camaro...I wish GM would offer Jetstream Blue or a simular bright blue on the new Camaro. I guess I'll keep my fingers crossed.
