2010 Camaro Retractable License Frame

I just bought the following:

2010 Camaro Retractable License Frame

http://rpidesigns.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=1672

Paid 49.95 plus shipping (8.50). I was about to install it, and decided I didn't like the offset of the front plate to one side. Since I didn't really need the ability to "hide it", just didn't want holes in the front of the bumper, I did some more research, and found how you could zip tie the factory front plate holder - which worked great for me.

The bracket is in perfect condition, but I made one modification to it. I drilled 2 holes in the front of the bracket that the license plate "plate" rests up against - this was done so I could insert 2 screws to get the proper angle for the plate to sit at (90 degrees from the ground). The screw heads (along with a single washer) make the plate holder sit a the proper angle!!! I got this idea from the thread:

Just expanded on the original idea. If you are really interested, or don't understand what I mean by the modification, I can post some pics, just let me know. The retractable is great, just needed a little tweak to make it sit perfectly on the front of the car. You'll see my posts on the info in the thread.

If you didn't want the screws for some reason, you can just remove them - no harm done - there will be 2 small holes, but they are covered up by the plate when in position.

If you are interested, PM me - I'm looking for 45 - shipping included (or best offer).

Thanks!!!!

Were did you found out how to zip tie it? I didn't want to drill holes either. Thanks

Another option for you instead of zipties is magnets. I have a thread on here about how to do it.
