Dinner with over 20 current and former NFL players.

Just a quick

On my way home from a charity fundraiser dinner for Martin Bayless's youth football camp in San Diego. All I can say is WOW! For next to nothing cost wise, I was able to eat dinner with 4 active Raiders and several other players from the Eagles, Buc's, Cowboys, Rams, Titans, Chiefs, Chargers, and others I know I'm forgetting.

All I can say is if you are able to do it, you've got to attend this benifit next year. I will be organizing a group trip next year so look for it.

Anyone interested in checking out the camp PM me and I'll send you a link.

I'll post pick up of the coolest player I've had the honor to meet, Hiram Eugene and assorted others when I get home. I'm currently on the iPhone.

Pic's will be up shortly. I'm attempting to resize them now. The majority of them will have to wait until the CD from the pro get's in. My camera's flash wasn't the greatest for the dark room.

This is by far the coolest, most laid back Professional Football player I have ever had the privlage to meet. He sat at our table for 3+ hours and just talked.

Oakland Raiders SS Hiram Eugene.

Very cool in his own right but was more interested in the rest of the mmmmmmmmmm, lets just say not me.

In his defense, it wasn't instigated by him.

Oakland Raiders LB Isaiah Ekejiuba:

Showed up late, stiffed us on the round of drinks he said he would buy us and took off before the group pic. Other than that,

Maybe that is why he was only given 3rd round tender by the Raiders.

I blame Reggie Bush.

I can't blame Oakland Raiders SS Mike Mitchell because I didn't realize that was who I was talking to until the ride home.
That was when I noticed he signed my helmet too.

SORRY MIKE!!!!

Didn't even get a pic of him.

Oakland Raiders MLB Kirk Morrison.

Here is a pic that I got today before the wife got too sick to stay.

This is the 6th-9th graders with the coaches and the pro's.

Tomorrow's group will be 9th-12th graders. Expecting over 30 CURRENT NFL players and 200-400 kids prepairing to dazzle the college scouts.

Autograph session was after the camp and I missed it.

Bright blue shirts on the field were the voulenteers. This could be you at the next camp.

I'm going to organize a group trip to next years party. It's cheap and for a great cause! This is a FREE Camp for ALL KIDS.

Big props to Martin Bayless and La Roi Glover for hosting this awesome event.

Not a single Charger made it out today. We'll see if they show up tomorrow.

Gates dropped off a Pre-Production autographed jersey and split. There was another one too but I am drawing a blank on the name. Phillip Rivers sent over an autographed football. LT would have been there, but he was taking care of business in NY.

There are 3 current Chargers that actually went to this camp themselves as kids and are expected to be there tomorrow.

Over the last 21 years, there have been 22 active NFL players that attended this camp. Bayless told a story about how Junior Seau was one of the coaches and actually worked with 2 future teammates. Pretty cool story.

Very nice... If you see Eric Weddle from the Chargers ask him about his new Hennessey Camaro...

RRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIDDDDDDDDDDEEEEEEEEEE RRRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!

5 trips to the big dance
3 wins

Still have a winning record against all but 2 teams in the NFL after going 0-100 the last 7 years.

Al is just trying to let the rest of the league catch up before he drops the hammer again. Just wait. You'll see.

Raiders for the win!

I don't think any Chargers will be showing up... If they couldn't show up for the AFC Divisional game against the Jets, can't see them making it to the camp either.

LOL! The Chargers haven't shown up for any playoff game since the Niners kicked the crap out of them in the first 15 plays of the Super Bowl.

I was too sick to show up myself. I was told that only 1 charger MAY have shown up, but it was a brief moment.

Over 50 NFL players made the camp to work with the high school kids. Eagles, Raiders, Browns, Saints and Bills for sure were there. Others I can't say for sure, because I wasn't there.

I should be getting other pics from the benefit on Friday night shortly. I don't think anyone I was with thought to get pic's from Sunday's Camp.
