It is common knowledge around that that both Kooks and ARH are two brands that rank with best and they are of equal quality and performance.

Therefore, let price be your guide. With that said, call Maryland speed, ask for Brandon and get their prices on Kooks. You'll know what to to do then.

Thanks guys. Sounds like Kooks are pretty good. What size do you recommend? I will be adding a superchanger shortly. Already have the vararam intake and corsa exhaust...

I got the Kooks....theyre great. Im sure ARH is great too--I think the size and high flow cats is more important here, as long as youre sticking with one of the well known quality brands.

I've just done a bunch of homework on this (danhr knows of which he speaks!) and I just ordered the Kooks 1 7/8" catted long tube headers. Go 1 7/8" ESPECIALLY if you're planning to add more HP mods later.

I ordered the Kooks 6511 headers from IPS Motorsports - they have great prices and they are near me, so I'm going to have them install them.

I was thinking the 2" made more sense if you plan to add a supercharger, cam, etc. Why the 1 7/8 instead?

OK, than I guess Kooks wins on the headers. I'm building a performance package all do to C5 members inputs on their mods and opinions on other brands. Thanks for the ops.

If I had an SS, I would go with Kooks. But ARH is just as good and they have an outstanding product for the v6 engine, so I went with them.

I'm trying to figue out what part #'s I need for the Kooks. I have an ss LL99 with a corsa exhaust already. I believe I need part # 6511 for the headers and 6513-oemc for the high flow cats. Is this right?
