question on installing sub/amp on non BA system

Hey guys/gals

i have a quick question that i am sure yall can help out.
I want to install a solo 10" sub and amp in my non BA car.
I know some basics from yrs ago on how to install the amp:
power wire
remote wire

I have read the forum and know the battery is in the back.

My question is: do i need an rca output converter that connects to the radio for the amp install?

Ive read that people do not run wires to the front, but im not sure how it works in this car.

Any help is appreciated, and im posting because i have looked through the forum, and its just easier to ask.

Thanks in advance!
