Best intake and exhaust for a SS?

Hello guys

Well only 2 more sleeps and I will finally have my camaro!
It's been a long wait that's for sure! Anyways I was thinking of throwing on a CAI and some new exhaust on it seeing as my dealer told me those won't void warranty What is the best sounding exhaust for this beast? I want one that will have that muscle sound, Not a friggin fart can And what is the best CAI? There are so many different kinds of exhausts and CAI out there I have no idea which one to get What kinda HP gains will just those two get me? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

The best exhaust is the one that sounds the best to you...Intake your gonna get a million different responses....IMO corsa sounds the best and the New era CAI looks the best...If your gonna get a intake get a tune as well...

Save your money on the CAI. I built this with spectre parts from pepboys. 4'' sections, one 90' degree, one 20' degree and a 4'' K&N build to your own fancy.... Buy a 3/8 hose and hose adapter kit for the vacuum live put it where ever you want. I actually used the stock section of the air box for the Mass air flow sensor. HOME MADE GENIUS.

I think you should run straight pipes and cherry bombs from stock manifolds and just do a drop in K&N those people are sellin these "intakes" on a hope that it will make it a hemi!

-joe dirt.

PS. Go with whichever systems give you goosebumps.. dont settle for what other people like... you would eat chocolate ice cream because 100 people told you to eat it when you actually really like vanilla

I agree... Just go with whatever floats your boat. With all the exhaust and CAI options, it's really hard to give advice on which is the "best". It's your car, so pick 'your' mods.

Also, Joe Dirt was one of the most underrated movies of all time. Love the reference...

that is not good there is too sharp of a bend in it , cai manufacturers go through extensive tests to get it right. what you have is g-rigged its not bad but its far from the best.
