If Borla had a 3 inch system I would get Borla.

Magnaflow makes a great sounding system. They are extremely well engineered and you can install it yourself. Their polished mufflers and exhaust tips look sweet.

I have the 3" 16483 Magnaflow system on my car. It has a very deep throaty sound just what I like. It's quiet in the car and loud ouside the car.

I went with Borla because I liked the deeper growl, and because they use a higher grade of stainless steel (T304 vs T409).

i love magnaflows sound but they are too quiet. they boral s type and new attack are very aggressive and more my style but if you just want a great tone and not really loud magnaflow is a great choice

I'm interested in this thread too. I am having Kooks 1 7/8" LT catted headers put in my L99 soon (the parts are on order). I am going to try them with the stock exhaust and then decide if I want to go with a Magnaflow Street series or a Borla touring exhaust. I want to be careful not to introduce an annoying drone at highway speeds. I am going to have a tune when I get the headers put in (AFM will be shut off as part of the tune).

I don't want an overly loud exhaust, but I do want something that will add a bit of a throaty growl to my car. I'd like to be able to listen to music and talk when cruising. So, I'm interested in this thread too - I'm not sure if magnaflow street or Borla touring is the way to go.

Wow, you and I are on the same page when it comes to our cars. First Adams, then CAI and now this. I am leaning towards the Borla touring for the same reasons. I think I'll let you go first again
