Wicked AWESOME work!!!!

Brian, I have loved VOrtech Super Chargers for YEARS (10 or so now) The best numbers I have ever seen come from Vortech!!

When I supercharge my baby it's gonna be a Vortech without a doubt. Nice that Wicked is near me too, I might have to make a trip to Vegas to do it.

All in good time.

Wouldn't that make it like..... not stock lol.

I suppose since only one other person asked much earlier I'll be the second to bravely ask...Any plans in the future to make something for the V6?

I agree. I have also said this a million times, it is hard to beat a centrifugal Supercharger if huge power is the goal. The current Magnuson TVS2300 moves roughly 1650 cfm at 16psi. That means the maggie is the monster HP & Trque making king up to 1000 crank hp and then that is all she wrote.

I have dyno'd countless Centrifugal applications while working at and owning PAXTON Superchargers, witnessed over 30 Vortech and ProCharger kits on the chassis and engine dyno and the same can be said for many Magnuson kits: The Magnuson makes HUGE torque down low and pulls strong until about 900hp and then is start to peter off. The centrifugal is opposite, it is no match for the hybrid roots down low, by mid RPM they are neck and neck for HP but the Magnuson still has the torque lead and by mid upper RPM any good centrifugal like the YSI leaves the other supercharger configurations in the dust.

I wouldn't mind seeing that quote as well.

I'm guessing passing the computer emissions test is out the window as well? Perhaps keeping the cats avoids a fail?

Excellent job on yours!

The problem with great engine parts for the V6 is that darn fuel system - it ain't easy to make significant changes

Holy Molly 20psi with stock head bolts? tick tock tick tock

This comment focuses more on the boost level vs. surface adhesion (heads to block) it is ultra difficult to get a turbo motor to live at 20 psi using stock head bolt configuration. I surmise that the centrifugal makes boost linear so at peak torque which is typically peak stress on motor you don’t see 20psi like a roots or turbo set up

Granatelli-For some reason when i said stock ls3 block, everybody assumes stock shortblock. In reality i mean stock ls3 block casting. The whole engine is forged with all work done at our facility. The engine also has cylinder head studs. This engine now has 1400 miles on it with extremely hard driving. I just wanted to clarify that so you did'nt think we were crazy. We just wanted to show that you can make reliable big power with the normal major components, you dont need ls9 or ls7 parts to do it. By the way i like your current project, and i wish you the best.

Thanks,
Cody Chapman

I was not complaining I was more so impressed. Like I said a few pages back I will always have a huge soft spot for the Centrigual design supercharger. They are the kings of peak power in the supercharger world.
