Borla S-Type Exhaust.

All I can say is WOW!!!

I ordered the Borla S-Type Exhaust yesterday around noon from Southern Car Parts in Marietta, GA.

It arrived today! Talk about fast shipping!

It is SWEET!!!! So much better than stock.

If anyone is considering a new exhaust Borla all the way!!

I got the S-Type Axle Back. Didn't feel the need for the full catback.

When I recieved them today I called up a local exhaust shop here in town to see if they would put the exhaust on for me. So I stop by with the box and I ask them how much will it cost and they said $50!! I know I could have put them on myself but I would rather them be welded on then bolted on. If they would have said it was $200 yeah I would have put them in my self.

Great Exhaust hands down!

I will post pics and videos in a little while, I have to go somewhere real quick.

If you have any questions please ask me.

Thanks

1st and 2nd pictures are of the mufflers after they were off my car, the rest were after the Borla was installed.

Enjoy

EDIT: I want to thank Deric884. He was at a meet this weekend and he had the GMPP exhaust for his LS3 and said it was about the same as Borla, and when he cranked it up he sold me on it. Thanks Deric884!

for the video and pictures.

I will make another video tommorrow with my car outside the garage, that is probably why it sounded so muffed.

I really like this S-Type Axle Back. My only concern is the noise inside the car. I want to be able to have a conversation and hear my music. Could ya give me some feedback

Thanks

RJT couple quick questions bro, but first your car sounds awesome!
I can't wait to get my LS3 next week, let alone a real exhaust!

How much did the axleback part cost you? And I'm a newbie when it comes to mods (even this simple) but I'm learning...Does the axleback mean that all you did was replace the factory "can" mufflers with the S-type mufflers?

Lastly, I plan to keep everything stock (all other components of the exhaust) I just want a deep throaty toned sound from the exhaust. Is the S-type axle back the right one for the job? If all you changed was the mufflers at the end of the exhaust and not the pipes, stock resonator, etc.?

I got it from Southern Car Parts in Marietta, GA. The original price was $999.00 They had it marked down to $699.00 Then the guy I talked to gave me another $100.00 off and free shipping. So all and all I payed $599.00.

jabbar This exhaust will give you that deep throaty sound you are looking for. Axle back means they cut the mufflers off with the tips then replace them with the Borla Mufflers and tips.

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any more questions.

Good question, I wondered about this myself when I ordered it. You are able to have conversations and listen to music.

Let me know if you have anymore questions.

I also put the Halltech Yellow Jacket Cold Air Intake this week also. Matched with the Borla, it sounds so sweet. So much louder with the intake on there. So if you are looking to get the Borla S Type and want a Cold Air Intake, I suggest the Halltech Yellow Jacket. I also got it from Southern Car Parts in Marietta, GA. $349.

Awesome!
I'm debating between this and the new ATAK exhaust by Borla...They both have their own distinct sound. The ATAK sounds badass in the video David Borla posted. I'm just curious will it still sound just as good with just the axle back.
